Our History

Applied Concepts Inc. was established in 1987, following earlier work developing products for the bingo industry. We began by manufacturing and distributing handheld electronic bingo terminals, then developed successive generations of player devices as the industry and its technology evolved.

Our work grew beyond the player terminal to include point-of-sale, game verification, and display systems. We also developed player recruitment and promotional programs for bingo halls, including specialty instant-ticket and pull-tab designs created to support those efforts. This experience taught us that helping an operator grow its game involves more than supplying equipment.

Another part of our history is insured gaming. For specialty bingo games, we have provided grand-prize contingency risk services, adding another dimension to our understanding of game design and operation.

Over the years, our work has reached charitable, commercial, and tribal bingo operations in 28 U.S. states, various Canadian provinces, and multiple countries and territories. Working across these venues has given us experience navigating the different regulatory requirements that affect how bingo products and services are offered and operated.

Today, Applied Concepts Inc. presents its bingo technology and services through Electronic Bingo Systems. The name reflects a product line that has grown from handheld terminals into a wider range of solutions for bingo operations. We continue to support traditional equipment and hall-based play while developing cloud-based and internet-connected systems, including browser-based player access. Throughout that evolution, our focus has remained on helping operators run and grow their games.
